It cannot be understated how important it is that we as Christians never be ashamed, feel inferior, or allow ourselves to be silenced from professing Christ. No matter the situation, we need to always be able to say in our hearts and from our lips...
I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day. -II Tim. 1:12
“Unashamed” is this year’s theme for CYC and keynote speakers include Lonnie Jones, Chris Miller, & Reed Swindle. CYC is February 22-24 and we would love to have your family to join us.
The purpose of the Challenge Youth Conference (CYC) is to meet the needs of our church teenagers who are growing up in a society that often is indifferent to living a life for Christ. We encourage families to attend this event together in order to allow teens & parents to grow in understanding side by side. Navigating today’s culture with a scriptural perspective is important and we all benefit from learning together.
The mission of CYC, as stated on their website, is to present a program utilizing solid and sound scriptural emphasis. In doing so we will neither go to the left nor to the right, but we will seek the middle path, striving to do as God has commanded.
Registration for Concord Road families & individual youth starts today. Look for more information in the CRYG This Week email. Let’s grow stronger together!
