“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
Concord Road Preschool is one of our wonderful local ministries. Our program is focused on developing a strong, balanced foundation for each child while showing God’s unconditional love for them.
We see each child as a gift from God, and that they are made in his image- each one unique and special. They are loved and appreciated just as they are. As we teach them how to love and respect others, they will develop a positive self-image. This security will allow them the freedom and confidence to try new things.
We want to provide a loving Christian environment for our students to grow in all areas of development: social, emotional, spiritual, cognitive and physical. We strive to encourage, stimulate and challenge each child to learn according to their individual abilities.
Bible is incorporated as part of our daily curriculum. We have a morning devotional time in which we read chronologically through the bible, sing together and have prayer time. Mr. Keith O’Neal and Grandma A (Mrs. Sheila Arnold) come and help teach our devotionals each week. We have Bible box topics in our individual classrooms. Bible box allows us to focus on one particular Bible character for an entire month, such as Moses, Noah, David, etc. We also have a Bible memory verse that corresponds to our letter of the week to encourage knowing the scriptures.
We are thankful to have this ministry to teach God’s word through our preschool program; not only through curriculum, but in how we serve our families. We may be the only exposure they have to the Bible or knowing God. We want to shine a light on Christianity, and hopefully encourage our families to develop a relationship with God in the future. We will plant the seeds, and have faith that God will help it take root and grow. “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
Please join us in supporting our preschool program! Let your light shine! Matt. 5:16

Ways to be involved:
Prayer- pray for our teachers, pray for our students and families we work with, and pray for our program to continue to grow and help others come to know God.
Volunteer- be a guest reader, volunteer for “hallway helpers” to work on individual skills that need reinforcement, be a guest at one of our enrichment weeks to share a special activity or skill you have, attend one of our special events to support our program and our students, help with work days or improvement projects.
Preschool Pals program- This is an easy way to encourage and show our church family cares about our preschool students and their family. Simply sign up to “adopt” a student, send special notes or even small items to the preschool pal each month.
Donate – give your time, share your abilities, or contribute toward purchasing needed supplies or equipment- we have an ongoing list of necessities and requirements needed.
Social media- “like” and share our Facebook posts to increase our exposure to the community. Submit a review of our program on Facebook or yelp to encourage others to check out our program.
