Senior Spotlight - Addison McFarlin

Addison has attended Concord Road her entire life. She has been an active part of the youth group where she has been involved in many activities, such as church camp. CYC, Bible Bowl, Lads to Leaders and most recently teaching Inner City. Among her favorite memories at Concord Road are the 3 summers she participated in the Darien mission trip and teaching kindergarten with Inner City on Tuesday evenings.

Addison will graduate from Lipscomb Academy in May, as a “lifer” having attended Lipscomb since kindergarten.  While at Lipscomb, she has been actively involved in both chorus and theatre. She is currently serving her second year as co-president of the SRO theatre club. Anyone who knows Addison, knows she has a love for the arts.  From a young age, Addison has pursued singing and acting, which has led to participation in many musicals and plays, both with community theatre and school. As reward for her dedication and perseverance, last spring, Addison was nominated as one of the top 3 actresses at the Middle Tennessee Spotlight awards, for her role as Cinderella.

Addison’s favorite roles to date include Cinderella, Sandra Bloom, and Amy March. As well as loving all things theatre, Addison loves to travel and has been to 43 of the 50 states. She also loves spending time with family and friends, music, dance, songwriting and playing both guitar and piano.

Addison will be attending Marymount Manhattan College in the fall where she will major in Musical Theatre performance and minor in Drama Therapy.
